Counselling and Psychotherapy
Untangling life’s challenges together
Life rarely follows the script we imagine.
The business of being human is often messy and difficult and can sometimes leave us feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or simply stuck. Whatever you’re facing, you don’t have to navigate it alone.
Authentic Connection. Shared Exploration. A New Path Forward.
As an integrative psychotherapist, I provide support that is both compassionate and empowering within real, human relationship. Therapy with me goes beyond clichés and scripted responses - it's about genuine connection and finding a way forward together.
I create a collaborative, safe, and holding space where you can begin to process your experiences, re-evaluate patterns, and renegotiate the relationships you have with yourself, others, and the world. Together, we'll work to help you move towards a greater sense of connection, authenticity and wholeness in your life.
I work with adults navigating a wide range of life challenges ranging from general unease to the processing of past trauma. Whether you're facing a specific crisis or seeking deeper self-understanding, I offer a space to explore what feels stuck or painful in your life.
Many of my clients are people who feel disconnected - from themselves, their relationships, or their sense of purpose. You might be someone who has tried to 'fix' things on your own, or perhaps you're exhausted from holding everything together. You may have tried therapy before and found it didn't quite fit. Whatever brings you here, I welcome the opportunity to get to know you and really come to understand what is going on for you.
My approach:
I weave together insights from relational psychoanalysis, attachment theory, and contemporary neuroscience - but I wear this knowledge lightly. What matters most is our relationship and your unique experience.
At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens through connection. Together we'll explore not just what's going on in your life, but the patterns that quietly guide you. We'll look at the strategies that have evolved to help you navigate the world: what continues to work for you, and what no longer serves you.
I bring in how we relate to others in our lives (both past and present), to ourselves, to our environment, and to the relationship we're forming together in the therapy room itself. The process is collaborative and tailored specifically to you, reflecting and respecting your specific needs and individuality. There's no one-size-fits-all formula because you are not a formula - you're a person with your own story, strengths, and struggles.
I am committed to anti-oppressive practice and ongoing professional development to ensure that I continually challenge myself and my thinking. My pronouns are she/her.
Why I do this work:
My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by my own encounters with mental health challenges, addiction, loss, and life crises. These experiences haven't just informed my practice - they've given me profound respect for the courage it takes to sit in a therapy room and the complex, personal nature of healing.
I know first hand that change is possible, and that it requires both self-compassion and the willingness to face difficult truths. This shapes everything about how I work - with deep respect for your pace, your defences, and your wisdom about what you need.
Qualifications and Experience:
I hold an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy and a Post Graduate Clinical Diploma from the Metanoia Institute. I am an accredited member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
My professional journey began with a degree in Psychology with Politics, reflecting my longstanding interest in the intricate workings of the human mind and the society within which those minds are embedded.
I bring over 5 years of clinical experience gained across charitable sector, NHS, and private practice settings, including work in acute psychiatric care. This breadth of experience means I am comfortable supporting people facing a wide range of difficulties; from everyday struggles to more complex challenges.
Online Sessions
Online therapy provides a convenient and accessible means of connecting from the familiarity and comfort of your own space. Sessions are conducted securely via encrypted video conferencing. Whether you struggle to get around or are juggling a busy schedule, meeting virtually could be a valuable solution to meeting your mental health needs.
Face-to-Face Sessions
While online therapy offers many benefits, there is something unique about the experience of meeting in person. Face-to-face work provides an opportunity for deeper connection and a more immersive therapeutic experience.

In-person appointments are held at a convenient South London location in SW11. The therapy rooms are situated a short walk from Clapham Junction station near the crossroads of Northcote Road and Battersea Rise. Numerous train and bus routes serve the area making reaching your session straight forward and hassle-free. For those who wish to drive, pay and display parking is available locally with most restrictions lifting after 17:30. Detailed instructions will be provided upon scheduling your first appointment.
Please note that the practice rooms are located upstairs so not accessible to all. If stairs are a problem for you, do consider the online option - physical logistics do not need to stand in the way of you receiving the support that you need.
You can expect a collaborative, supportive therapeutic experience tailored to you. Together, we’ll explore your difficulties, cultivate self-awareness and self-compassion, and work towards the changes you want to see in your life. Our sessions provide a confidential space where you can speak freely without judgement.
The duration of therapy varies depending on your individual needs and goals. Some people find short-term work helpful, while others benefit from longer-term explorations. We'll work together to establish a timeframe that works for you, and this can be reviewed as we go.
Sessions are typically scheduled on a weekly basis, lasting 50 minutes each.
Yes, confidentiality is of utmost importance in therapy. Sessions are conducted in a safe and private setting, and everything discussed is kept strictly confidential, with very limited exceptions (such as if I believe you or someone else is at serious risk of harm). All information is stored in line with GDPR requirements. I am registered with the ICO and adhere to the professional and ethical policies and procedures of the UKCP and BACP.
